The League of Women Voters of Montana, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.

Founded in May 1921 soon after the formation of the National League, the Montana League today has local leagues in Billings, Bozeman, Helena and Missoula. Membership is open to all women and men, ages 18 and older.
